Description

The 7th Annual General Meeting of stakeholders of the West and Central African Research and Education Network (WACREN) would be held on Friday, 13 November 2020 on Zoom from 09:00 to 11:00 UTC.

This year's edition which was initially scheduled to be part of the 2020 Conference was postponed because of the challenges posed by COVID19 pandemic and WACREN's deep concern for the safety and health of its stakeholders.

The good news is - the AGM would be held albeit, online. It would be a time to reflect on activities implemented in 2019 and chart a course for the future. We encourage all Members and other stakeholders to time out of your busy schedule to attend and participate in this AGM. The maximum limit for participation is two(2) officials from each NREN Member.

Together, we hope to make this AGM a memorable one.

  The Board Chair - Prof. Nii Narku Quaynor welcome Members to the 7th AGM. He set the tone for the Meeting. In his usual fashion, he broke the ice and ensured all Members were set for the 2-hour 'marathon' of reports and exchange of thoughts and ideas.
