SLREN-Network 2017 Conference

The SLREN 2017 Conference will bring together policy and decision makers, development partners, academics and researchers, Information/Library professionals, IT Experts and collaboration specialists from across Sierra Leone, West Africa and Europe. The aim of the conference is to discuss the status of fiber optic broadband connectivity in Universities, including service charges for internet connectivity and counterpart funding for AfricaConnect-2 to connect SLREN to the West and Central Africa Research & Education Network infrastructure. The theme of this year’s conference is: "Assuring Sustainable Broadband Connectivity for Higher Education in Sierra Leone”.
