Instructors

Bamidele Richard Amire (ngNOG) is the CTO of Network Infrastructure and Services Technologies Ltd (NISTech Ltd) and a team player with a passion for excellence.  With over 16 years experience in designing, implementing, monitoring and management of networks, Dele has a particular interest in routing, switching, user access control and network security. 

Experience in deploying Open Source network solutions and services is complemented with his certified partner status in the deployment and integration of solutions and hardware offered by several leading vendors.   Dele has been training and mentoring networking professionals in the region for over a decade and has been a volunteer instructor and sponsor of the annual Nigerian Network Operator Groups (NgNOG) workshop since 2005.

Emmanuel Togo (GARNET)  - holds a Second Degree in Computer Engineering from University of Ghana.  He currently works as the Head of the Networking Unit of the University of Ghana’s Computing Systems (UGCS). 

He is a founding member of the Ghanaian Academic and Research Network’s (GARNET) technical team, working to build the National Research and Education Network in Ghana. Emmanuel’s current focus is designing and deploying an affordable, large-scale campus-wide WiFi network in Ghana.  

Adewale Oronti (ngNOG) -  is a Senior Network Engineer from the Federal University of Technology, Akure with a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science, and key interests in Networking and Linux Server Administration.  He is currently helping to build a Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) Fiber Backbone for his campus.

Emmanuel Onowojo (ngNOG)  -  holds a degree in Computer science from CMJ University and a Diploma in Computer Engineering from the University of Benin where he has worked for the last 13 years as Network Engineer honing his craft and expertise in the design, setup and management of wireless networks.   

He is a Cisco Academy Instructor at the university with assorted certifications including CCNA, CCNP, CCAI, RHCSA and RHCSE.  He has been volunteer instructor for ngNOG for the last 10 years and is also known to consult for Alfa O & O Network Ltd every now and then.
