L’Université Virtuelle de Côte d’Ivoire (UVCI), créée en 2015 (décret N° 2015-775 du 09 décembre 2015), a pour mission de développer et de vulgariser le numérique dans la formation et l’employabilité des diplômés, la recherche et la science ouverte. A proximité d'un quartier précaire appelé "village Allakro" à la périphérie du quartier des II Plateaux dans la commune de Cocody, l'UVCI s'est engagée depuis la première année académique (2016-2017) dans la formation à distance et la recherche ouverte.
La précarité des conditions de vie des communautés du village Alakro, en particulier celles des commerçants, des artisans a très vite été considérée par l’UVCI comme un espace de recherche ouverte. Cette situation sociale a favorisé la création d’un FabLab spécifique en 2018. Le FabLab à ciel ouvert est un écosystème avec un prototype d’échanges et d’interconnexions basés sur de nouvelles approches de co-construction de solutions innovantes. Il s’appuie sur le modèle pédagogique de l’UVCI et un incubateur interne. Ce cadre de recherche collaborative en améliorant l’impact sociétal de l’UVCI, met ses spécialités académiques et de recherche au service des besoins de la communauté d’Allakro pour le développement d’applications de e-services, e-commerce et marketing digital, réseaux et sécurité informatique, communication digitale, etc. Face aux résultats acquis en termes d’appuis et de transformations sociales, l’UVCI en cette année 2022 a ajouté aux piliers existants à savoir, la formation, la recherche et l’employabilité, l’humanité numérique par le développement d’une autre notion « les projets collectifs tuteurés » pour renforcer ses actions de développement collaboratif et inclusif.
Lancé à partir d’un concept, le « voisinage » qui a conduit au projet voisinage et à la création d’autres concepts celui de « FabLab à ciel ouvert » et de « projet collectif tuteuré », cette communication vise à partager les résultats atteints, à renforcer ledit projet et développer le partenariat.
The Virtual University of Côte d'Ivoire (UVCI), created in 2015 (Decree No. 2015-775 of December 09, 2015), has the mission to develop and popularize digital skills in training and employability of graduated students, in open research and open science. In the vicinity of a precarious neighborhood called "village Allakro" on the outskirts of the II Plateaux in the Cocody's district, UVCI has been engaged since the first academic year (2016-2017) in distance learning and open research.
The precariousness of the communities living conditions in the Alakro village, especially traders, craftsmen, was considered promptly by UVCI as a space for open research. This social situation has favored the creation of a specific FabLab in 2018. The open-air FabLab is an ecosystem with a prototype of exchanges and interconnections based on new approaches for the co-construction of innovative solutions. It is based on UVCI's pedagogical model and an internal incubator. This collaborative research framework, by improving the UVCI societal impact, answered to the needs of the Allakro’s community, using its academic and research specialties, developing e-services, e-commerce and digital marketing, networking and computer security, digital communication, etc. Linked to the results achieved in terms of support and social transformation, UVCI in this year 2022 added to the existing pillars, distance learning, research and employability, digital humanity by developing another concept "collective tutored projects" to strengthen its collaborative and inclusive actions.
Launched from a concept of "neighbourhood" which led to the neighbourhood project and the creation of other concepts such as "open-air FabLab" and "collective tutored project", this communication aims to share the results achieved, to strengthen the said project and develop partnerships.
