With a particular focus on specific thematic topics (health, library, food security, and environment), TANDEM national workshops present the opportunity to:
1. spread awareness on the necessity and benefits of NRENs and their activities
2. discuss local NREN developement with national and regional stakeholders (governmental authorities, regulatory bodies, decision makers in NRENs and research and education institutions, donors).
