 \nWACREN\, in collaboration with The Shadowserver Foundation\, is organisi
 ng a hands-on technical workshop open to the broader NREN community across
  Africa.  This includes NRENs\, their member institutions\, and regional 
 national Computer Security Incident Response Teams (nCSIRTs) as we work to
  strengthen ties and foster collaboration among cybersecurity stakeholders
 .The workshop will focus on the practical integration and use of Shadowser
 ver’s free daily threat intelligence feeds and services to enhance incid
 ent response capabilities. Participants will gain direct experience with i
 nterpreting the data\, using the reports API\, filtering and prioritising 
 threat information\, and applying open-source tooling such as IntelMQ and 
 Kibana in real-world scenarios—all within a secure training environment 
 in WACREN Cloud.Participants will:Explore the full scope of Shadowserver
 ’s free servicesLearn to interpret threat feeds and prioritise incidents
  using severity levelsPractice integrating data via APIs and dynamic repor
 t filtersUse tools\, including IntelMQ\, for automation and threat process
 ingLeverage the Shadowserver Dashboard for situational awareness and vulne
 rability managementUnderstand best practices for using these tools at the 
 institutional and national levels The training environment will be carefu
 lly set up to allow hands-on interaction with real data while maintaining 
 security and integrity. By the end of the workshop\, attendees will be equ
 ipped with practical skills and resources to strengthen their organisation
 ’s cybersecurity posture and better respond to incidents across their ne
