LIBSENSE-RUFORUM Webinar on Open Science and RDM

This webinar is to sensitise participants to key concepts related to open science and research data management, which underpin collaborative project work undertaken between WACREN and RUFORUM as part of the LIBSENSE initiative to develop an open data repository for agricultural data to serve the RUFORUM network.

The webinar will also provide a platform for launching the needs assessment survey to the community. To achieve this, the following objectives will be pursued:

1. Provide an overview of Open Science concepts;
2. Introduce Research Data Management (RDM) principles and practices;
3. Discuss the state of the art of Open Science and RDM in agriculture;
4. Launch the Needs Assessment Survey.
