 Conference\, themed: "Pathways to a Digital Future: Empowering Nigeria’s
  Research and Education Network"\, will focus on utilising digital infrast
 ructure and collaborative platforms to improve practice\, output\, and vis
 ibility of the Nigerian REN community’s research output and scholarly ou
 tputs. It will also examine ways to improve REN users' digital identity an
 d mobility to take full advantage of local and global digital services and
  adhere to globally accepted standards for research and scholarly practice
 .The Conference brings together practitioners in the research and educatio
 n community including Senior Management (Vice Chancellors and Deputy Vice 
 Chancellors)\, Policymakers\, Directors of ICT\, Librarians\, researchers 
 and Service Providers and Funders from the Nigerian and West African regio
 ns.Objectives and Goals:Increased adoption of open infrastructure for scho
 larly communications and collaboration.Using locally available infrastruct
 ure for producing and publishing scholarly content.Embrace the use of Digi
